The Mattawan High School Choral Music Department is commissioning a former Mattawan Choir student, Griffin Candey, to write a piece for choir, soprano soloist, and a tenor soloist.  We have received a $1,000 Brainstrong Instruction Award from the Mattawan Public Education Foundation for the commission.  We are hoping that you will help us to match this grant. The two soloists are also former choir students: soprano Chelsea Shephard and tenor Edward Ferran.  Both are professional opera singers.
